Ward 6 leaders reacted to the endorsement with strong support. "Charles has shown a commitment to women's health issues - in particular, increasing access to healthcare for vulnerable women throughout our city. As a cancer survivor, I can think of nothing more important for the health and well-being of our community," said Thelma D. Jones, breast cancer survivor, patient navigator, and women's health advocate.
