Meet & Greet Fundraiser for Charles Allen with Elsa & Sam Huxley

Please join us on Saturday, November 16th from 2-4 pm for a Meet & Greet Fundraiser with Charles Allen, candidate for the Ward 6 DC Council seat. The primary election is taking place on April 1st, less than 180 days away. The time is here to get informed and involved in this important race for our Ward.

Charles has wide and diverse support in this race, in great measure due to his outreach and many successes in his position as Chief of Staff to current Ward 6 Councilmember Tommy Wells. His work at the Council over the last 6 years has given him deep knowledge about Ward 6's neighborhoods and citizens' concerns. He has a proven track record of commitment and energetic follow-through. We know he will tackle challenges head on, whether they concern our schools, businesses, or aging-in-place for our elderly population.

Charles is focused on neighborhoods that everyone can always call home, and that starts with great schools. Our community flourishes when we work for the advancement of all our kids - we know that starts with our schools. With a young family of his own, Charles understands that we need to keep building on the work done at the elementary level and extend that same energy and urgency to our middle schools.

Charles worked extensively on the campaign finance bill and has vowed not to accept any corporate contributions. Another reason to step up early - with your help we are confident he will inspire the volunteerism and financial support he needs to win this race.
Bring your questions and join the momentum! We are sure you will be inspired to support Charles' campaign, so also: bring your checkbook or credit card. We are looking forward to a substantive conversation about the future of our schools, our neighborhood, Ward 6, and the city.

Drinks and light refreshments. Kids welcome. RSVP below.
